CaMKIIβ Antibody (K-19) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody developed against recombinant human CaMKIIβ. Anti-CaMKIIβ antibody (K-19) exhibits broad species reactivity, effectively recognizing CaMKIIβ from mouse, rat, and human origins across a variety of applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CaMKIIβ, also called CAM2, CAMK2, CAMKB, CaMKIIbeta, and MRD54, is a crucial member of the Ca²⁺/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII) family, functions as a serine/threonine kinase that is activated by the binding of calcium and calmodulin, playing an essential role in numerous cellular processes such as the regulation of the cell cycle, synaptic plasticity, and memory formation.
