SEE ALSO...

CaMKIIα Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CaMKII alpha in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CaMKIIα (A-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CaMKII alpha plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the regulation of synaptic plasticity and memory formation in neurons, making CaMKII alpha essential for cognitive functions. CaMKII alpha is primarily located in the cytoplasm and is also found in the nucleus, where CaMKII alpha can influence gene expression and cellular responses to calcium signaling. CaMKII alpha translocation to the nucleus upon activation highlights CaMKII alpha importance in mediating long-term changes in neuronal function and plasticity. Additionally, CaMKII alpha undergoes various post-translational modifications, including phosphorylation, which can modulate CaMKII alpha activity and interactions with other proteins, further emphasizing CaMKII alpha role in complex signaling networks. CaMKIIα (A-1) monoclonal antibody enables researchers to gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying calcium-dependent signaling and implications in neurobiology and other physiological processes.
