Calgranulin A Antibody (C-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Calgranulin A protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Calgranulin A antibody (C-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Calgranulin A, also known as S100A8 or cystic fibrosis antigen (CFAG), is a member of the S100 protein family, characterized by EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100A8 plays a crucial role in inflammatory response and is primarily expressed in macrophages and epithelial cells, where S100A8 regulates various cellular processes, including cell proliferation and differentiation. S100A8′s presence in inflammatory conditions highlights its importance as a biomarker for diseases such as cystic fibrosis and rheumatoid arthritis. Additionally, S100A8 interacts with Calgranulin B (S100A9), forming a heterodimer that enhances biological activity and stability, further underscoring S100A8′s significance in immune responses and potential therapeutic applications.

What is the recommended starting dilution for immunostaining with Calgranulin A (C-10): sc-48352 monoclonal antibody?
