    SEE ALSO...

CacyBP Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects CacyBP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CacyBP antibody (H-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CacyBP, or Calcyclin-binding protein, is a 228 amino acid protein encoded by the human gene CACYBP, primarily located in the nucleus. This protein contains one calcium-binding CS domain and one SGS domain, which are crucial for its function in calcium-dependent ubiquitination processes. The ability of CacyBP to interact with calcium ions is significant as CacyBP modulates the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, facilitating the degradation of target proteins, including β-catenin. This interaction is particularly important in the context of cellular signaling and regulation, as β-catenin plays a vital role in the Wnt signaling pathway, which is implicated in cell growth and differentiation. By influencing β-catenin levels, CacyBP is thought to act as a potential inhibitor of cell growth and invasion in gastric cancer, highlighting CacyBP′s importance in cancer biology and therapeutic strategies.
