    SEE ALSO...

CaBP4 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgA kappa light chain antibody that detects CaBP4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CaBP4 Antibody (D-6) is available as anti-CaBP4 antibody (D-6) without conjugation. Calcium binding protein 4 (CaBP4) plays a vital role in the retina, where CaBP4 is primarily localized in photoreceptor cells, specifically in the outer segments of rods and cones. This localization enables CaBP4 to effectively modulate calcium signaling in response to light, which is essential for visual transduction. Through calcium ion binding, CaBP4 influences the activity of various calcium-dependent enzymes and signaling pathways, thereby contributing to phototransduction regulation and maintaining photoreceptor cell health. CaBP4′s interaction with other proteins in the calcium binding protein family further underscores CaBP4′s importance in cellular signaling processes, particularly in vision.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-271885 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
