    SEE ALSO...

CaBP1 Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CaBP1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CaBP1 Antibody (A-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Calcium binding protein 1 (CaBP1) plays a vital role in calcium-mediated cellular signaling, particularly within the central nervous system, where CaBP1 is involved in modulating the activity of calcium channels and other calcium-dependent processes. CaBP1 is primarily localized in the brain and retina, where CaBP1 exists in multiple alternatively spliced variants, allowing for diverse functional roles in neuronal signaling and synaptic plasticity. CaBP1′s ability to interact with various calcium channels and proteins underscores CaBP1′s importance in maintaining calcium homeostasis and facilitating effective neurotransmission. Understanding CaBP1 function and interactions is crucial for elucidating mechanisms underlying calcium signaling in neuronal health and disease, making anti-CaBP1 antibody (A-4) an essential tool for researchers studying these pathways.
