C3aR Antibody (D-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects C3aR of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). C3aR (D-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The C3a receptor, also known as C3aR, plays a crucial role in the immune response by mediating the effects of anaphylatoxin C3a, which is generated during complement activation. This process is vital for pathogen elimination and involves ligand-surface protein interactions that are particularly important for cells of hematopoietic lineage. C3aR is predominantly expressed in the brain and activated B-lymphocytes, where C3aR contributes to proinflammatory responses such as cellular degranulation and cytokine release.
