    SEE ALSO...

C2orf73 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects C2orf73 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). C2orf73 (F-1) antibody is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. C2orf73, also known as chromosome 2 open reading frame 73, consists of 287 amino acids and exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms, encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 2p16.2. This chromosome is the second largest in the human genome, comprising approximately 8% of the total genome and containing over 1,400 genes, many of which are implicated in various genetic disorders. C2orf73 is believed to play a role in cellular processes, although exact functions remain to be fully elucidated. Understanding C2orf73 interactions with specific proteins is crucial, as these interactions may provide insights into biological roles and potential implications in disease mechanisms. C2orf73 has been shown to interact with proteins involved in cellular signaling pathways, which could be vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental stimuli. These interactions may reveal important therapeutic targets and enhance understanding of molecular underpinnings of diseases associated with chromosome 2.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514107 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
