    SEE ALSO...

C19orf47 Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects the C19orf47 protein of human origin, 2310022A10Rik protein of mouse origin, and RGD1307554 protein of rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). C19orf47 (H-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. C19orf47, also known as chromosome 19 open reading frame 47, is a 422 amino acid protein that exists as three alternatively spliced isoforms, encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 19. This chromosome is notable for its high gene density, comprising over 2% of the human genome and housing a variety of important genes, including those related to immunoglobulin superfamily members and key traits such as eye and hair color. C19orf47 plays a significant role in cellular processes, and interactions with specific proteins can influence various signaling pathways, making C19orf47 crucial for understanding cellular responses and potential disease mechanisms. Additionally, chromosome 19 has been implicated in several genetic disorders, including Peutz-Jeghers syndrome and insulin-dependent diabetes, highlighting the importance of studying proteins like C19orf47 in the context of health and disease.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393896 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
