SEE ALSO...

C12orf29 Antibody (D-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the C12orf29 protein of human origin, the 4930430F08Rik protein of mouse origin, and the RGD1307947 protein of rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). C12orf29 Antibody (D-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. C12orf29 protein is located in the cytoplasm and plays a role in cellular signaling pathways, which is crucial for maintaining normal cellular functions and responses to external stimuli. Disruptions in these pathways can lead to various developmental disorders and diseases, highlighting the significance of studying C12orf29 protein in genetic and cellular research. Chromosome 12, where C12orf29 gene is located, encodes over 1,100 genes and is associated with several skeletal deformities and developmental syndromes, making C12orf29 protein research vital for understanding these conditions.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390730 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good antibody for western blot analysisVery good antibody for western blot analysis. I got very good results pre-treating lysates with chondroitinase ABC, which resulted in significant enrichment of band at 37 kDa. Suggests protein is decorated with galactosaminoglycans. Worked well with human cell lysates as well as lysates from zebrafish embryos. I have not been able to get any results with immunohistochemistry in any species.
