Btk Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Btk protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Btk (E-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Btk, also known as Bruton tyrosine kinase, plays a crucial role in B cell development and signaling, making Btk essential for the immune response. Mutations in Btk can lead to X-linked agammaglobulinemia, a condition characterized by a significant reduction in antibody production and increased susceptibility to infections, highlighting Btk′s importance in maintaining immune system integrity.
