BSPRY Antibody (C-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects BSPRY of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). BSPRY (C-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. BSPRY, which consists of 402 amino acids, is crucial for calcium transport regulation across epithelial cells, as BSPRY interacts with TRPV5 and TRPV6 channels. Through potential inhibition of these transient receptor potential vanilloid proteins, BSPRY plays a significant role in maintaining calcium homeostasis, which is vital for numerous physiological processes, including muscle contraction, neurotransmitter release, and bone mineralization. BSPRY is encoded on human chromosome 9, a region associated with various genetic disorders, including hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia and familial dysautonomia, highlighting BSPRY′s importance in both health and disease.
