BRUNOL4 Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects BRUNOL4 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). BRUNOL4, also known as CELF4, plays a crucial role in regulating pre-mRNA alternative splicing, particularly in cardiac tissues during the transition from juvenile to adult stages. BRUNOL4 is essential for including exon 5 in cardiac isoforms of Troponin T-C, which is vital for proper heart function and remodeling. Additionally, BRUNOL4 promotes the exclusion of specific exons in actinin pre-mRNAs, thereby influencing muscle development and function. Structurally, BRUNOL4 contains three RNA recognition motif (RRM) domains that facilitate binding to muscle-specific splicing enhancer intronic sites, underscoring BRUNOL4′s importance in tissue-specific splicing regulation. BRUNOL4 expression is notably high in the cerebellum, hippocampus, amygdala, and various regions of the cortex, highlighting BRUNOL4′s significance in neural function.
