BPTF Antibody (2343C3a) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects BPTF protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). BPTF (2343C3a) antibody recognizes a key component of NURF (nucleosome-remodeling factor) complex, which includes SMARCA1, RbAp46, and RbAp48. This complex enables ATP-dependent nucleosome sliding, which facilitates chromatin transcription. BPTF specifically recognizes trimethylated histone H3 tails on lysine 4 (H3-K4Me3), a modification marking transcription start sites of nearly all active genes, highlighting BPTF′s importance in gene expression regulation. BPTF may influence transcription through direct interactions with DNA or transcription factors, making BPTF a vital player in gene regulation networks.
