SEE ALSO...

β Tubulin Antibody (G-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody designed to target amino acids 210-444 of human β Tubulin, a fundamental component of the cellular cytoskeleton. β Tubulin, also known as β1 Tubulin and β2 Tubulin depending on its isoform, is essential for the formation of microtubules through heterodimerization with α Tubulin. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, β Tubulin plays a critical role in maintaining cell shape, facilitating intracellular transport, and enabling proper cell division, all of which are vital for normal cellular function and organismal development. The precise localization of β Tubulin within the cell underscores its importance in dynamic processes such as mitosis, vesicular trafficking, and cellular motility. anti-β Tubulin antibody (G-8) exhibits broad species reactivity, effectively recognizing β Tubulin in mouse, rat, human, avian, equine, canine, bovine, and porcine samples, and is recommended for use in western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) applications. The existence of multiple β Tubulin isoforms, including the neuron-specific β3 Tubulin, highlights its diverse functional roles in different tissues, and β Tubulin (G-8) antibody facilitates the study of these isoforms in both physiological and pathological contexts. β Tubulin (G-8) monoclonal antibody′s robust performance in multiple assay formats makes this reagent an indispensable tool for researchers investigating cytoskeletal dynamics, cell division mechanisms, and related disease processes.

How can beta-Tubulin Antibody (G-8): sc-55529 be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: TinTin
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. Please contact our Special Orders department for availability of directly conjugated beta-Tubulin (G-8), or see beta-Tubulin (D-10): sc-5274 for antibody conjugates, including AC, HRP, FITC, PE, Alexa Fluor® 488 and Alexa Fluor® 647.
