SEE ALSO...

β-Arrestin-2 Antibody (H-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody specifically engineered to detect β-Arrestin-2, also known as ARRB2, across a variety of species including human, mouse, rat, canine, bovine, and porcine. Anti-β-Arrestin-2 antibody (H-9) recognizes an epitope located between amino acids 2-33 at the N-terminus of the human β-Arrestin-2 protein, ensuring reliable detection in applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). β-Arrestin-2 is a critical regulator of G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling pathways, mediating receptor desensitization, internalization, and initiating alternative signaling cascades independent of G proteins. This multifunctional protein is predominantly expressed in neuronal and spleen tissues, where β-Arrestin-2 plays a vital role in modulating neurotransmitter receptor activity and cellular responses to various signaling molecules. β-Arrestin-2′s ability to influence diverse physiological processes makes β-Arrestin-2 a key target for research in areas such as neurotransmission, inflammation, and cancer progression. Understanding the interactions and regulatory mechanisms of β-Arrestin-2 is essential for developing therapeutic strategies aimed at these critical pathways. β-Arrestin-2 (H-9) antibody is available in both conjugated and unconjugated forms, offering versatility to meet different experimental needs.

What is the recommended secondary reagent for Western blot in human samples?

Asked by: Trav11
We recommend using one of our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins as a secondary detection reagent, such as m-IgGκ BP-HRP: sc-516102, for Western blot. A complete list of all available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Technical Service department by calling 800-457-3801 option 2, emailing scbt@scbt.com, or using the Live Chat function on our website.
