Barx2 Antibody (8A7/1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Barx2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Barx2 antibody (8A7/1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The human BARX2 gene, located on chromosome 11q25, encodes a 254 amino acid protein that is highly expressed in adult salivary glands and various smooth muscle tissues, as well as in the brain, tongue, and esophagus. Notably, Barx2 has been shown to correlate with cadherin-6 expression in ovarian cancer cell lines, highlighting a potential role in cancer biology and development.
