B7-H4 Antibody (9) is a rat monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects B7-H4 protein of mouse origin by flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-B7-H4 antibody (9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. B7-H4 protein, also known as B7-homolog 4 or VTCN1, plays a crucial role in regulating T cell activation and immune responses through immunoinhibitory functions. Primarily expressed on the surface of lymphoid cells, B7-H4 interacts with receptors on T lymphocytes, effectively modulating both cellular and humoral immune responses. This interaction is particularly significant as B7-H4 can suppress tumor-associated immunity, making B7-H4 a key player in the immune evasion of certain malignancies, including ovarian and breast cancer. Notably, B7-H4 overexpression has been linked to these cancers, and ongoing research indicates that, similar to Mucin 16 (CA125), B7-H4 may serve as a valuable biomarker for early detection of ovarian cancer. B7-H4′s ability to influence immune responses highlights its importance in both cancer biology and potential therapeutic strategies, making anti-B7-H4 antibody (9) an essential tool for researchers studying immune regulation and tumor immunology.
