SEE ALSO...

B7-H3 Antibody (G-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects B7-H3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). B7-H3, also known as B7-homolog 3 or B7RP-2, is a member of the B7 Immunoglobulin superfamily and plays a crucial role in the regulation of T cell activation and immune responses. B7-H3 is widely expressed in non-lymphoid tissues, where B7-H3 serves as a costimulatory molecule that enhances the proliferation of both CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. Notably, B7-H3 has been shown to stimulate T helper 1 and cytotoxic T cell responses, suggesting potential antitumor activity. B7-H3 interactions with receptors may be pivotal in modulating cell-mediated immune responses against tumors, positioning B7-H3 as a promising target for therapeutic interventions in cancer treatment. With versatile applications and significant role in immune regulation, anti-B7-H3 antibody (G-12) is an essential tool for researchers exploring the complexities of immune responses and cancer biology.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398403 P appropriate for?

Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
