B7-H3 Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects B7-H3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). B7-H3, also known as B7-homolog 3 or B7RP-2, is a member of the B7 Immunoglobulin superfamily and plays a crucial role in regulating T cell activation and immune responses. B7-H3 is predominantly expressed on non-lymphoid tissues, where B7-H3 engages with a putative receptor on activated T cells distinct from other well-known costimulatory molecules like CD28 and PD-1. B7-H3′s unique interactions with T cells promote proliferation of both CD4+ and CD8+ T cells and suggest involvement in enhancing Th1 and cytotoxic T cell responses, which may contribute to potential antitumor activity. B7-H3′s ability to modulate cell-mediated immune responses against cancer positions B7-H3 as a promising candidate for therapeutic applications, making anti-B7-H3 antibody (D-8) an invaluable tool for researchers exploring immune regulation and cancer immunotherapy.
