B7-2 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects B7-2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). B7-2 (D-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. B7-2, also known as CD86, plays a crucial role in immune response by providing essential costimulatory signals necessary for T cell activation. B7-2 is primarily located on antigen-presenting cells, where B7-2 interacts with T cell receptors such as CD28 and CTLA-4, facilitating T cell activation and proliferation. This interaction ensures proper T cell stimulation for pathogen response. B7-2 regulates immune tolerance and influences immune response outcomes, making B7-2 a significant target for therapeutic interventions in cancer and autoimmune disorders.
