SEE ALSO...

B7-2 Antibody (BU63) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects B7-2 protein in resting monocytes and dendritic cells, as well as activated T, B, and natural killer cells from mouse, rat, and human sources through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-B7-2 antibody (BU63) is offered in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. B7-2 protein, also known as CD86, plays a crucial role in the immune response by providing essential costimulatory signals necessary for T cell activation. B7-2 (BU63) monoclonal antibody interacts with T cell receptors CD28 and CTLA-4, which are vital for T cell proliferation and lymphokine production. B7-2 binding to CD28 enhances T cell activation, while B7-2 interaction with CTLA-4 serves as a negative regulatory signal, thus maintaining immune homeostasis. This dual functionality underscores B7-2′s importance in modulating immune responses, making B7-2 a significant target for therapeutic interventions in various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. B7-2 (BU63) antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers studying T cell activation and the intricate balance of immune signaling pathways.
