B23 Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects B23 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). B23 (E-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. B23 protein, also known as nucleophosmin, plays a crucial role in ribosomal assembly and ribosomal RNA transport, essential for protein synthesis in cells. B23 localization within the nucleolus highlights nucleophosmin′s importance in regulating ribosome biogenesis, a vital process for cellular growth and proliferation. B23 undergoes significant post-translational modifications, particularly phosphorylation by Cdc2 kinase during mitosis, influencing nucleophosmin′s function and protein interactions. Understanding B23 dynamics and modifications is critical for elucidating nucleophosmin′s role in cell cycle regulation and potential implications in cancer biology, making anti-B23 antibody (E-3) an invaluable research tool for studying these processes.
