SEE ALSO...

Asparagine synthetase Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Asparagine synthetase (ASNS) of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ASNS antibody (G-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ASNS, also known as cell cycle control protein TS11, plays a crucial role in amino acid biosynthesis, particularly in the synthesis of L-asparagine from L-aspartate via the L-glutamine pathway. ASNS is essential for protein synthesis and cell proliferation. ASNS features one asparagine synthetase domain and one type-2 glutamine amidotransferase domain, which are critical for enzymatic activity. ASNS gene regulation occurs during the cell cycle, making ASNS necessary for G1 phase progression, thereby linking ASNS function to cell growth and division.

Hello, I am interested in ordering bulk of: Anti-Asparagine synthetase Antibody (G-10): sc-365809. We would want 2.6mg of the antibody. So it would be 13 vials of 200ug, or if there is a bulk option, we would like 2mg in bulk + 3 separate 200mg vials.

Asked by: Jeremy777
Thank you for your question. Please contact our Special Orders Department to inquire about availability and to receive a quote for a bulk quantity of this chemical. Please call our Technical Service Department, or email <specialorders@scbt.com>.

Can you recommend a positive control to use with Asparagine synthetase (G-10): sc-365809 monoclonal antibody for Western blot?

Asked by: jenni
We recommend K-562 (sc-2203), U-251-MG (sc-364176), MCF7 (sc-2206), Ramos (sc-2216) or HUV-EC-C (sc-364180) whole cell lysates to use as positive controls as we have great Western blot data showing specific detection of Asparagine synthetase in these cell lines.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with Asparagine synthetase (G-10): sc-365809?

Asked by: jenni
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
