    SEE ALSO...

ARSA Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ARSA protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ARSA (H-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ARSA protein plays a crucial role in cellular detoxification processes, as ARSA is involved in the hydrolysis of ATP in the presence of anionic substrates such as antimonite, which is essential for providing resistance to toxic compounds like arsenite and antimonite. This function is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and protecting cells from the harmful effects of heavy metals. The active form of ARSA exists as a homodimer featuring four nucleotide binding sites, two from each monomer, which is significant for enzymatic activity and interaction with substrates. Understanding ARSA function and interactions can provide insights into mechanisms of resistance to environmental toxins and potential therapeutic targets for related diseases.

Are there any issues with using sc-390568: ARSA (H-7) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

    Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-390568 conjugates.
