Arp3 Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Arp3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Arp3 antibody (A-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Arp3 plays a crucial role in actin dynamics, which is essential for numerous cellular processes such as cell motility, shape maintenance, and intracellular transport. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, Arp3 is a key component of the Arp2/3 complex, which is responsible for nucleating new actin filaments and facilitating the formation of branched actin networks. This branching is vital for the formation of cellular structures like lamellipodia and filopodia, which are critical for cell migration and adhesion. The Arp2/3 complex is activated by signaling molecules such as the Rho family of small GTPases, particularly Cdc42, which recruits the Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein (WASP) to the site of actin polymerization. By promoting the nucleation of actin filaments, Arp3 not only supports the structural integrity of the cytoskeleton but also influences various signaling pathways that regulate cell behavior.
