Arnt 1 Antibody (H-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Arnt 1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Arnt 1 antibody (H-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Arnt 1, also known as aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling as an essential component for aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) function, a ligand-dependent transcription factor regulating genes involved in xenobiotic metabolism. The interaction between Arnt 1 and AhR enables nuclear translocation of AhR, allowing binding to specific DNA sequences known as xenobiotic responsive elements (XREs), which activates transcription of genes such as CYP1A1, glutathione S-transferase Ya subunit, and DT-diaphorase. The structural integrity of Arnt 1, which includes a basic helix-loop-helix domain and two PAS domains, is critical for heterodimer formation with AhR and facilitating transcriptional response to environmental toxins. Understanding Arnt 1 function and interactions provides valuable insights into toxicology and cellular responses to environmental stressors.
