Arnt 1 Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the Arnt 1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Arnt 1 antibody (A-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Arnt 1, also known as HIF1B, TANGO, bHLHe2, HIF1BETA, or HIF-1beta, is a crucial nuclear protein consisting of 789 amino acids that plays a significant role in cellular responses to hypoxia. Arnt 1 contains a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) domain, a PAC (PAS-associated C-terminal) domain, and two PAS (PER-ARNT-SIM) domains, which are essential for function as a transcription factor. Arnt 1 is vital for dimerization with the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR), facilitating receptor nuclear translocation and enabling binding to specific DNA sequences known as xenobiotic responsive elements (XREs). This interaction regulates genes involved in detoxification processes, such as CYP1A1 and glutathione S-transferase, thereby influencing the body′s response to environmental toxins and maintaining cellular homeostasis.
