ARID3A Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ARID3A protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ARID3A antibody (A-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ARID3A protein, also known as DRIL1 in humans and Bright in mice, plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression during development, particularly in differentiating cells of the gut and salivary glands. ARID3A′s unique structure includes an A/T-rich DNA-binding domain and a tetramerization domain, which are essential for function as a transcriptional activator. ARID3A′s ability to bind to specific DNA sequences allows regulation of genes involved in cell proliferation and differentiation, making ARID3A vital for normal cellular processes. Additionally, ARID3A gene is associated with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, an autosomal-dominant disorder that increases the risk of various neoplasms, including gastrointestinal cancer. Notably, E2FBP1, which shares identity with ARID3A in the carboxy terminal region, regulates transcription factors involved in cell proliferation, highlighting the interconnectedness of these proteins in cellular regulation.
