ARHGAP19 Antibody (B-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ARHGAP19 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ARHGAP19 antibody (B-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ARHGAP19 consists of 494 amino acids, is primarily localized in the nucleus and features a Rho-GAP domain that plays a crucial role in regulating Rho-type GTPases. By accelerating the intrinsic rate of GTP hydrolysis, ARHGAP19 functions as a negative regulator, converting active GTP-bound Rho proteins into their inactive GDP-bound state. This regulatory mechanism is vital for controlling cellular processes such as proliferation, migration, and differentiation, as well as actin remodeling, which are essential for maintaining normal cellular functions and responses to external stimuli. ARHGAP19 is strongly expressed in fetal liver, lung, brain, heart, kidney, and pancreas, while lower levels are found in adult ovary, spleen, and thymus. The gene encoding ARHGAP19 is located on human chromosome 10 and gives rise to multiple alternatively spliced isoforms, highlighting its potential complexity and functional diversity in various biological contexts.
