ARF1 Antibody (ARFS 1A9/5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects the ARF1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. ARF1 (ARFS 1A9/5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ARF1, a member of the ADP-ribosylation factor family, plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as vesicular transport and membrane trafficking, which are vital for maintaining organelle integrity and cellular homeostasis. Located primarily at the Golgi apparatus, ARF1 is involved in the recruitment of coatomer protein complex I (COPI) to membranes, facilitating the formation of transport vesicles. This recruitment is regulated by the binding and hydrolysis of guanosine triphosphate (GTP), highlighting ARF1′s importance in the dynamic regulation of membrane traffic. ARF1′s ability to interact with specific membrane phospholipids further underscores its significance in cellular signaling and transport mechanisms. With versatile applications and critical role in cellular function, anti-ARF1 antibody (ARFS 1A9/5) serves as an essential tool for researchers studying membrane dynamics and intracellular transport pathways.

What secondary is best to use with ARF1 (ARFS 1A9/5): sc-53168?

Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. While most anti-mouse IgG secondary antibodies are appropriate for use with ARF1 (ARFS 1A9/5): sc-53168, we recommend using one our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins as a secondary detection reagent. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
