APPL1 Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects APPL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). APPL1 Antibody (A-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. APPL1, also known as adaptor protein containing pH domain, PTB domain, and leucine zipper motif 1, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and trafficking, particularly in epidermal growth factor (EGF) signaling. APPL1 is essential for signal translocation from plasma membrane to nucleus, where APPL1 interacts with chromatin remodeling complexes such as NuRD/MeCP1, thereby influencing gene expression and cell proliferation. APPL1 regulates the Akt signaling pathway, vital for cell survival and metabolism, by binding to kinase domains of Akt1 and Akt2. APPL1 is predominantly expressed in heart, ovary, skeletal muscle, and pancreas, highlighting APPL1′s importance in various physiological processes. With 54% homology to APPL2, APPL1 serves as a key player in the intricate network of signaling pathways that govern cellular responses to external stimuli.
