ANP Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ANP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ANP antibody (F-2) is raised against amino acids 1-153 representing full length ANP of human origin. ANP (F-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) plays a crucial role in regulating blood pressure and fluid balance within the body, primarily by promoting natriuresis, which is the excretion of sodium through urine. This function is vital for maintaining electrolyte homeostasis and preventing conditions such as hypertension and heart failure.
