    SEE ALSO...

Annexin A13 Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Annexin A13 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Annexin A13 antibody (H-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Annexin A13 plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in membrane trafficking and intracellular transport regulation, which maintains cellular homeostasis and function. Annexin A13 is predominantly expressed in intestinal and kidney epithelial cells, highlighting specialized transport functions within these tissues. Annexin A13′s unique expression pattern and ability to bind to lipid rafts underscores significance in cellular signaling and membrane dynamics. Two alternative splicing isoforms of Annexin A13 exist, both contributing to functional diversity and interaction with other cellular components. Annexins, including Annexin A13, are known for calcium-dependent binding to phospholipids, which is essential for various cellular activities, including phospholipase A2 inhibition and cell-matrix interaction mediation.

I am using Annexin A13 (H-1): sc-377327 monoclonal antibody to stain paraffin embedded tissue. Do you recommend antigen retrieval when using this antibody?

    Asked by: Trav11
We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
