ANKS6 Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ANKS6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ANKS6 Antibody (A-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ANKS6, also known as ankyrin repeat domain-containing protein 14 or sterile alpha motif domain-containing protein 6, is an 871 amino acid phosphoprotein characterized by eleven ankyrin repeats and one sterile alpha motif domain, existing in three alternatively spliced isoforms. ANKS6 plays a crucial role in renal function and is implicated in the pathogenesis of polycystic kidney disease, where ANKS6 is associated with renal cyst formation. ANKS6 is primarily localized in the cytoplasm and is essential for maintaining cellular integrity and signaling pathways. ANKS6 interaction with BICC1, another protein linked to polycystic kidney disease, highlights ANKS6 importance in a molecular pathway that regulates cystogenesis. Additionally, ANKS6 may have implications in dental anomalies, further underscoring ANKS6 significance in various biological processes.
