    SEE ALSO...

ANKRD32 Antibody (G-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects ANKRD32 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ANKRD32 antibody (G-1) is available as the non-conjugated form. ANKRD32 protein, also known as BRCTD1, consists of 1,058 amino acids and features three ankyrin repeats and two BRCT domains. ANKRD32 mediates protein-protein interactions and is involved in various cellular signaling pathways. ANKRD32 is located in the cytoplasm and associates with the cytoskeleton, maintaining cell shape and facilitating intracellular transport. Mutations or deletions in ANKRD32 can lead to severe genetic disorders, including periventricular heterotopia, mental retardation, and epilepsy, highlighting ANKRD32′s importance in neurodevelopmental processes. ANKRD32 is located on human chromosome 5q15, a region critical for various biological functions and conserved across multiple species, including chimpanzees, dogs, cows, mice, rats, and chickens. Deletion of chromosome 5q14.3-q15, which encompasses ANKRD32, has been linked to significant health issues, underscoring ANKRD32′s importance in both normal physiology and disease states.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514264 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
