    SEE ALSO...

ANKRD11 Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ANKRD11 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ANKRD11 (E-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ANKRD11, also known as Ankyrin repeat domain-containing protein 11, is a 2,664 amino acid nuclear protein encoded by the human gene ANKRD11. ANKRD11 plays a crucial role in gene regulation as a member of a unique family of ankyrin repeat-containing cofactors that interact with p160 nuclear receptor coactivators, enhancing target gene transcription. ANKRD11 contains four ankyrin repeats and features two intrinsic repression domains essential for transcriptional repressor function. The N-terminal repression domain (RD1) spans residues 318-611, while the C-terminal repression domain (RD2) extends from residues 2369-2663. ANKRD11 also possesses an activation domain capable of stimulating transcription in vitro, specifically within a 70-amino acid region at residues 2076-2145. This dual functionality allows ANKRD11 to modulate a balance of repression and activation signals, making ANKRD11 a significant player in gene expression regulation and cellular processes.
