ANKMY1 Antibody (H-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ANKMY1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ANKMY1 antibody (H-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ANKMY1, also known as ZMYND13 or TSAL1, is a 941 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of seven ankyrin repeats, three MORN repeats, and one MYND-type zinc finger. The ankyrin repeats are crucial for mediating protein-protein interactions, while the MORN repeats, first identified in junctophilins, suggest a potential role in linking the plasma membrane to the endoplasmic reticulum or sarcoplasmic reticulum, which is vital for maintaining cellular integrity and signaling. The MYND domain, with its unique arrangement of cysteine and histidine residues, may facilitate further interactions with other proteins, underscoring ANKMY1′s importance in cellular processes. Three isoforms of ANKMY1 arise from alternative splicing, adding complexity to its functional roles in various biological contexts. Mutations in ankyrin genes, including ANKMY1, have been linked to severe genetic disorders, such as fatal cardiac arrhythmias and hereditary spherocytosis, highlighting ANKMY1′s significance in health and disease.
