Angptl3 Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Angptl3 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Angptl3 (G-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Angiopoietin-like protein 3 (Angptl3) is crucial for maintaining plasma triglyceride levels, functioning primarily as a potent inhibitor of lipoprotein lipase, which is essential for lipid metabolism. Angptl3 is secreted by the liver and plays a significant role in regulating triglyceride levels during different nutritional states, thereby influencing the feeding and fasting cycle. The structure of Angptl3 is characterized by a C-terminal fibrinogen-like domain and an N-terminal coiled-coil domain, which are vital for interaction with integrin α(v)β(3) and overall functionality.
