    AMPKβ2 Antibody (F-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgA antibody that detects AMPKβ2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). AMPKβ2 is a crucial regulatory subunit of the AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) complex, which plays a vital role in cellular energy homeostasis. AMPKβ2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and is essential for the proper functioning of AMPK, as AMPKβ2 helps to stabilize the complex and facilitate activation in response to cellular energy stress. AMPKβ2′s presence in the cytoplasm allows for rapid signaling in response to fluctuations in cellular energy levels, enabling the cell to adapt metabolic pathways accordingly. By interacting with the catalytic α subunit and the γ subunit, AMPKβ2 ensures that the AMPK complex can effectively respond to changes in AMP and ATP concentrations, thus regulating key metabolic processes such as glucose uptake and fatty acid oxidation. AMPKβ2′s ability to modulate these pathways is critical for maintaining energy balance and preventing metabolic disorders, making AMPKβ2 an important target for research in areas such as obesity, diabetes, and cancer.
