Amphiregulin Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a light chain antibody that detects Amphiregulin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Amphiregulin is a member of the epidermal growth factor (EGF) family and plays a crucial role in normal human keratinocyte proliferation, acting as an autocrine growth factor produced and secreted by keratinocytes. Amphiregulin binds to the ErbB-1 receptor, which is vital for epithelial development in various tissues, including the skin, lung, and gastrointestinal tract. Notably, Amphiregulin′s involvement in cellular processes extends to its influence on telomerase activity; withdrawal of Amphiregulin has been shown to downregulate telomerase in human keratinocytes, indicating its significant role in regulating cell senescence. Anti-Amphiregulin antibody (C-1) serves as an essential tool for researchers studying epithelial development and the mechanisms of keratinocyte growth and differentiation, providing insights into the complex signaling pathways that govern these processes.

I want to use sc-393433 for sandwich ELISA assay. please let me know what is pair antibody with sc-393433

Asked by: JKang
Thank you for your question. We do not support our products for sandwich ELISA, so we have not paired this Amphiregulin (C-1) monoclonal antibody with any other antibodies. We do offer one other Amphiregulin antibody, sc-393433, but we have not used them together for sandwich ELISA and can not warranty them for this use.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393433 P appropriate for?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
