Aminoacylase-1 Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Aminoacylase-1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Aminoacylase-1 antibody (B-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Aminoacylase-1, also known as N-acyl-L-amino-acid amidohydrolase or ACY-1, is a crucial enzyme belonging to the M20A metallopeptidase family, characterized by a zinc-binding homodimeric structure. Aminoacylase-1 is predominantly expressed in the cytoplasm of kidney, brain, placenta, and spleen, where Aminoacylase-1 plays a vital role in hydrolyzing N-acylated or N-acetylated amino acids, thus contributing to amino acid metabolism. Aminoacylase-1 interacts with sphingosine kinase 1 (SphK1), suggesting a potential role in cellular responses to oxidative stress.
