AMIGO3 Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects AMIGO3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-AMIGO3 antibody (C-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. AMIGO3, a member of the amphoterin-induced gene and open reading frame (AMIGO) family, is a single-pass type I membrane protein characterized by several leucine-rich repeats, one immunoglobulin domain, and a transmembrane domain. AMIGO3 is primarily located on the fiber tracts of neuronal tissues, where AMIGO3 plays a critical role in cell-cell interactions and signal transduction, essential for the proper development and functioning of the nervous system. Notably, AMIGO3 interacts with other members of the AMIGO family, such as AMIGO1 and AMIGO2, which are involved in promoting neurite growth and myelination. AMIGO3′s ability to form homophilic and heterophilic interactions is vital for neuronal connectivity and the overall integrity of neural networks, making AMIGO3 an important target for studies related to neurodevelopmental processes and potential neurological disorders.
