AMIGO1 Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects AMIGO1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). AMIGO1 (H-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The AMIGO family of proteins, which includes AMIGO-1, AMIGO-2, and AMIGO-3, consists of single-pass type I membrane proteins characterized by several leucine-rich repeats, an immunoglobulin domain, and a transmembrane domain. These proteins are predominantly expressed in neuronal tissues, where they play a critical role in the formation and maintenance of fiber tracts. AMIGO1, also known as Alivin-2, promotes the growth and fasciculation of neurites, which is essential for proper neural development and myelination of axons. AMIGO1 interacts with other members of the AMIGO family and forms homophilic interactions, which are vital for cell-cell communication and signal transduction in the nervous system. Understanding AMIGO1 function is crucial, as AMIGO1 contributes to the intricate processes of neural connectivity and plasticity, making AMIGO1 a significant target for research in neurobiology and potential therapeutic interventions.
