α Tubulin Antibody (YL1/2) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody raised against full-length purified α Tubulin derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae (yeast). α Tubulin (YL1/2) monoclonal antibody detects α Tubulin from various species, including mouse, rat, human, and yeast, through a range of applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). α Tubulin is a core component of the microtubule network, a crucial element of the cytoskeleton involved in maintaining cell shape, intracellular transport, and proper segregation of chromosomes during mitosis.
