α-Adaptin 1/2 Antibody (100/2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects α-Adaptin 1/2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). α-Adaptin 1/2 plays a crucial role in clathrin-mediated endocytosis, which is essential for internalizing receptors and membrane proteins, thereby regulating cellular functions including nutrient uptake and signal transduction. α-Adaptin 1/2 is primarily located at the cytoplasmic side of the plasma membrane, where anti-α-Adaptin 1/2 antibody (100/2) can detect interactions with clathrin and other adaptor proteins forming clathrin-coated pits, facilitating vesicle formation for cargo transport into cells. This localization ensures endocytic machinery is strategically positioned to capture and internalize membrane proteins, maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to extracellular signals. α-Adaptin 1/2 monoclonal antibody (100/2) serves as an invaluable tool for studying endocytosis dynamics and implications in various physiological and pathological processes.
