SEE ALSO...

Aldolase B Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Aldolase B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Aldolase B antibody (C-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Aldolase B, also known as fructose-bisphosphate aldolase B, plays a crucial role in carbohydrate metabolism by catalyzing the reversible conversion of glycerone phosphate and glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate into fructose 1,6-bisphosphate, a key intermediate in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis. This enzyme is predominantly expressed in the liver, where Aldolase B is essential for proper fructose metabolism, and dysfunction can lead to hereditary fructose intolerance, a serious metabolic disorder. The regulation of Aldolase B by insulin and glucagon highlights Aldolase B′s importance in maintaining glucose homeostasis, making Aldolase B (C-11) antibody an invaluable tool for studying expression and function in various biological contexts.

Hi, I want to use this Ab for WB and IP on mouse liver lysates and/or hepatoma cell lines. I see you write that this AB works in IP but you don't present any picture of IP in the datasheet, do you have satisfactory IP results to show? Thanks Thanks

Asked by: AsaelR

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393278 P appropriate for?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
