ALDH3A1 Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects aldehyde dehydrogenase 3A1 (ALDH3A1) in human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ALDH3A1 plays a crucial role in the metabolism of aldehydes, particularly in the detoxification of harmful compounds, which is vital for maintaining cellular health and preventing oxidative stress. ALDH3A1 is predominantly located in the cytoplasm and forms a homodimer that preferentially oxidizes aromatic aldehyde substrates, making ALDH3A1 essential for the metabolism of certain drugs and environmental toxins.
