Ajuba Antibody (F-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Ajuba in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Ajuba, a member of the Zyxin family of LIM proteins, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, particularly in cell signaling pathway regulation. Ajuba (F-9) antibody helps reveal its involvement in the IL-1 signaling pathway, where Ajuba modulates interleukin-1-induced NFκB activation by influencing the assembly and activity of the αPKC/p62/TRAF6 multiprotein signaling complex. This regulation is vital for controlling inflammatory responses and cellular stress, highlighting Ajuba′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Additionally, Ajuba is essential for cadherin-mediated cell-cell adhesion and influences cell migration by regulating the synthesis of phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2) through direct activation of PIPKIα activity. In differentiating mouse embryonic stem cells, Ajuba transcription is notably elevated, indicating its role in development. In adult mouse tissues, Ajuba is expressed in the skin, brain, and genitourinary organs, with immunofluorescence (IF) analysis revealing cytoplasmic localization in unsynchronized HeLa cells. Notably, during the G2/M phase of the cell cycle, Ajuba localizes to the centrosome, where Ajuba interacts with LATS2 to regulate spindle apparatus organization by recruiting γ Tubulin, further underscoring its critical role in cell division and organization.
