SEE ALSO...

Ajuba Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Ajuba protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Ajuba antibody (B-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Ajuba, a member of the Zyxin family of LIM proteins, plays a crucial role in mediating cellular events, particularly in the IL-1 signaling pathway, where Ajuba modulates interleukin-1-induced NFkB activation. This modulation occurs through Ajuba′s influence on the assembly and activity of the αPKC/p62/TRAF6 multiprotein signaling complex, highlighting Ajuba′s importance in inflammatory responses. Ajuba is involved in cadherin-mediated cell-cell adhesion and regulates cell migration by directly activating PIPKIα, which is essential for the synthesis of phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PI(4,5)P2). Elevated transcription of Ajuba is observed in differentiating mouse embryonic stem cells, indicating Ajuba′s role in development. In adult mouse tissues, Ajuba is expressed in the skin, brain, and genitourinary organs, with immunofluorescence (IF) analysis revealing cytoplasmic localization in unsynchronized HeLa cells. During the G2/M phase of the cell cycle, Ajuba localizes to the centrosome, where Ajuba interacts with LATS2 to regulate spindle apparatus organization through the recruitment of γ Tubulin, underscoring Ajuba′s significance in cell division and maintaining genomic stability.

Will it be work for Drosophila?

Asked by: Kinsuk
Thank you for your question. We have not validated the antibody for Drosophila. There is a 59% homology in Drosophila. We only recommend a species if the homology is 95% or higher .

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398008 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
